• Happening In the Next Two weeks

    Service Time 9:30 & 11:00 a.m.

  • On Sunday:

This Sunday our message is #icandoallthings and our scripture focus will be Philippians 4:8-14

    Partnership Month:

Though the month of October Cornerstone will be highlighting various organizations we have chosen to partner with in order to help change the world. They week we will be featuring World Hope Canada

In October Cornerstone launched a Satellite service in Bagotville PQ. We are calling this a Hybrid Church and it will meet in the home and use our Livestream feed for their service. Bagotville is a Canadian Military base with a very limited Evangelical presence. Be keeping Nicky Rigby in prayer as she heads up this exciting new kingdom move.

    Adult Mystery Night Party:

On Oct 28th, 6:20 put your deductive reasoning skills to the test and see if you can be the person who figures out "who dun'it"!

This will be a potluck event but you will need to sign up in advance on Sunday at the Mystery Night table that will be set up in the foyer. Listen for the announcements on Sunday that will give you more details and they will be posted on the bulletin board as well. If you have further questions please contact Pastor Marilyn.

    Trunk or Treat:

Come out and join the fun between 6 and 7:30 on Halloween. We still need folks who will decorate their cars and hand out treats to hundreds of Trick or Treaters from our communities. The driveways are really long and far apart in many of our communities and Trunk or Treat is a safe Halloween alternative for families with little children.

The more cars the more fun, but if you can't get out and wish to donate treats please bring them in this Sunday.

If you have further questions please contact Pastor Marilyn.

    Remembrance Day:

On November 6th we will be celebrating Remembrance Day Sunday at Cornerstone, if you are a member of the military we invite you to wear your uniform on that Day.

On November 11th the community will be taking the time to remember at the new cenotaph across from church.

    Journey to Bethlehem:

We'd love to have live animals involved in our "Journey to Bethlehem", but live animals don't come cheap. If you know of anyone with a donkey, goat or camel they'd like to loan us please let us know. Or. . . you can help contribute to the $750.00 animal rental fee by indicating "Bethlehem" on your envelope.

November 26th. Join us at Cornerstone for a living recreation of a journey taken over 2000 years ago. This journey includes a period market place, opportunity to pay your taxes to Caesar and witness a manger scene.

Volunteers needed for: Actors/actresses/children actors, seamstress, props, tents, set up and tear down.

Help us bring Bethlehem to Kingswood. Please see sign- up sheet in the lobby or contact Peggi and David MacEachern at 902.832.0400 or by email to Peggi
