• happening In the Next Two weeks

    Service Times 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

  • On Sunday:

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound. . . This week we begin our new series "Moments of Grace" and our Scripture focus will be Ephesians 2:1-10

    Ronald McDonald House:

Our biggest project of the year is our Thanksgiving Dinner for both Ronald McDonald House and the family room at the IWK. If you want to know how you can help visit the Cornerstone Ronald McDonald Facebook page.

    Operation Give thanks:

Thank you for the over 300 hygiene bags we were able to provide to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission to be handed out at their Thanksgiving Dinner.

    Trunk or Treat:

This will be the fifth year that Cornerstone has served the Community with "Trunk or Treat". The driveways are long and dark in Kingswood so we provide an alternative for younger children. If you can help, we need at least 15 decorated trunks with treats and folks to help in other areas, please contact Pastor Marilyn.

    Life Groups:

Due to the Thanksgiving weekend there will be no Alpha or Youth Life Group on Oct 11th.

    Christmas projects:

Each year Cornerstone provides opportunities to respond to the needs of others. Please stay tuned for more information on "Operation Christmas Child" and "Wells for Christmas"

    Compassion Letter Writing Day:

Do you sponsor a child? We are hosting a Compassion Letter Writing Day November 21. A representative from Compassion Canada will be coming in to share with us about what Compassion does, and we will have the chance to write letters, and draw pictures for Grace our church sponsor child, and for your own sponsor kids. This is open to everyone, regardless of who your child is sponsored through, and is a great way for families to start teaching their kids about world issues. Saturday November 21 from 12-2pm. Pizza provided.

    baptism celebration:

We are planning a Baptism Celebration on November 22 in both services. If you have chose to follow Christ but have never been baptized the big question is: Why Not? For more information pull one of the staff members aside and let's have a chat.
