    On Sunday:

    This week our 3:16 comes from a favorite Bible Story in the Old Testament. Our scripture focus this week will be Daniel 3:13-20

    Family Sunday:

    On July 31st we are will be hosting a family Sunday. Bring a picnic lunch and plan on joining us for a picnic across the street at the Park following the service. There are a few picnic tables but bring along your lawn chairs and blankets if you have them.


    Youth Car Wash and BBQ:

    The Youth will be hosting a Car Wash and BBQ on July 30th at the Esso across from the church on Saturday from 11 to 1:00. Stop by for a clean car and a bite to eat. If you can help wash cars, cook hot dogs or motivate teens and have a couple of hours to spare contact Pastor Stefan

    Set Your alarm for 2:20:

    Do you pray for your church and church leaders? Why not set your watch, clock, phone or tablet for 2:20 and whisper a prayer for Cornerstone at that time? Why 2:20? Because the Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:20  Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.


    Youth Yard Sale:

    There will be a Youth Yard Sale on August 20th. If you have stuff and want to get rid of it, or if you want more stuff you won't want to miss this. For more information or to book a table contact Pastor Stefan


    Caton's Island:

    The Atlantic District of the Wesleyan Church offers a unique camping experience for Children, teens and families. For more information visit www.catonsisland.com or grab a postcard off the information table.

    Dinner on the Grounds:

    September 4th will be our last combined service and we will be lunching together following the service. We are providing hot dogs, Mary Brown's in Tantallon is providing chicken and we need you to bring the rest. Bring a soft drink to share and If your last name begins with A to K bring a dessert if it begins with L to Z bring a salad.

    Alpha, The Movie:

    This fall we are planning on offering the new Alpha Program in every LIFE Group at Cornerstone. If you are interested in hosting or leading (we'll train you) contact Denn

    Operation Christmas Child:

    Operation Christmas Child has been one of our Christmas projects since they began, OCC is presently looking for volunteers for their Halifax operation, if you are interested in finding out more information check out Volunteers



    Cornerstone Gardeners:

    Do you love to plant stuff and get dirt under your fingernails? You're in luck, stay tuned for more details on the Cornerstone Gardeners, those wonderful people that create and maintain our beautiful gardens out front. For more info contact Tamara Elwood or 835-7220.


    Don't forget your chunky soup and evaporated milk on August 7th for Feed Nova Scotia, this time of the year Sunscreen is in demand as well.

    Ronald McDonald House:

    If you would like to become a regular contributor of this ministry we do provide meals for RMH every second Monday. Look for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board, or check out Cornerstone's Face book page to see what items are needed for the meal we are making for that week.
